Kids Helping Kids

The "Kids Helping Kids" Community Service Project began in late February, and ran until April 19, 2006. Students placed personaly decorated collection boxes around area businesses and collected a variety of items. The items were then sorted and packaged up to be handed out by Family Service Alliance to children that have been displaced from Domestic Violence in the area. More than 40 bags were filled for the project. Lt. B. Wheatly gave certificates to the participating students and spoke with them briefly on his experience when responding to domestic violence calls. All the students did a Super job and have a caring and wonderful heart for others!
